2019 TWIN PEAKS ARCHIVES

It’s been twenty-eight years since Twin Peaks ended, and the surreal drama has gained cult status for good reason. The bizarre visuals and plot combined with a talented cast left viewers unable to look away. Card collectors have had two sets so far, from Star Pics in 1991 and last year’s offering from Rittenhouse Archives. Now, Rittenhouse provides another look at this classic show with 2019 Twin Peaks Archives Trading Cards.

RA president Steve Charendoff says, “This new series of cards will really appeal to the diehard fans of this show, and as we learned with our premiere edition of Twin Peaks cards last year, there are lots of those fans out there.”

Collectors can expect a 72-card base set, with several insert sets, including 45 Relationship cards (1:8). Charendoff noted, “The theme is “Relationships”—combinations of key characters who make the show so compelling. We will also have several other new features, including scratch-n-sniff cards, patch cards and more.” Yes, nine Scratchn- Sniff cards (1:24). Hopefully, one of them be a “Damn fine cup of coffee.” The patch cards consist of seven Bookhouse Boys and seven Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Dept. cards, (1:288). Rounding out the inserts will be Original Stars (1:12), Quotable cards (1:24) and Locations (1:24).
