Argyll MP praises grants given to local charities

ARGYLL and Bute MP Brendan O’Hara has praised grants given to Oban charities in 2017.

Each year the Corra Foundation distributes just under £1 million through its Henry Duncan Grants programme to grassroots charities working in their local communities.

The Corra Foundation awarded £47,522 to charities in Argyll and Bute throughout the year, many of which are in Oban.
