PUPILS and friends of Lochnell Nursery School raised £242 for Oban’s Hope Kitchen at a Christmas tea and cake party in Benderloch.
Nursery teacher Joanna Clark said the charity, which provides food, shelter and companionship to vulnerable people living in Oban and Lorn, gave a talk to the children to raise awareness about homelessness and people less fortunate than them.
The children brought in lots of Christmas parcels to gift to Hope Kitchen. ‘We had five full boxes of food,’ she said.
