OBAN will be home this October to Memory Fest – a night of retro fun and music – all to raise funds for the UK’s leading dementia charity, Alzheimer’s Research UK.
Keen fundraiser Elinor Dodgson wanted to raise money for dementia research after her grandfather, George Dodgson, was diagnosed with it in 2013. He died last month.
Memory Fest is set to be a rocking night of live music from the 1970s, 1980s and glam rock era. It will be held on Friday October 28 at The Wide Mouthed Frog in Dunstaffnage Marina.
