SOME 54 Senior Citizens from Spean Bridge and Achnacarry enjoyed festive fare at Russell’s Restaurant, Smiddy House, Spean Bridge, in two sittings on Wednesday and Thursday last week, December 7 and 8.
They were both said to be ‘very pleasant occasions, with good company, attentive service and a high-quality dining experience, which was enjoyed by all’.
Even Santa was able to take a break from his busy Christmas schedule to pay a visit, although not by sleigh but by black cab, and distribute presents for all. The committee are extremely grateful to all who supported them. Pictured are organiser John Fotheringham, Santa and Robert Bryson, the co-owner of Smiddy House.
