MOTORISTS are being warned of ‘delays, frustration and chaos’ as 800 cyclists are set to descend upon Fort William in the next two days.
The 800 bike riders are taking part in the Deloitte-sponsored Ride Across Britain which will see them travel almost 1,000 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats in nine days. The event coincides with the Camanachd Cup final in Fort William on Saturday.
The bikers will begin the longest leg of the journey, from Hamilton to Fort William, tomorrow (Friday September 16), with plans to be on the A82 from mid morning until around 8pm.
