LUNDAVRA Primary School pupils got their chemistry right when they got mixed up at a Generation Science workshop.
The Get Fizzy workshop, delivered by the Edinburgh International Science Festival and supported by the Lochaber Smelter, is for pupils new to chemistry who learn about solids, liquids, gases and fizzes and watch how mixtures react.
Nick Thomson, head teacher at Lundavra Primary School, said he was delighted to welcome the science tour to the school. He said: ‘For some of our pupils, Get Fizzy is their first introduction to chemistry. It is handson and makes science fun and enjoyable.’
