Efforts to sell The Underwater Centre in Fort William as a going concern have failed, according to the administrators.
It had been hoped that administrators Johnston Carmichael would find a buyer who could help to maintain the facility as a centre of subsea excellence for Scotland and the UK.
But Johnston Carmichael has now confirmed that this has not proved possible, although they have completed the sale of the business’s assets.
