An addiction support service transforming the lives of young people in Oban with the help of rescue dogs is to get £10,000 funding.
Oban Addiction Support and Information Service (OASIS), based in Craigard Road, is one of 13 projects across Scotland tackling alcohol misuse and to get a grant from the Scotch Whisky Action Fund.
This is the fifth round of awards from the fund since it started in December 2013. The fund is managed by independent charity Foundation Scotland, which has made grants this year totalling £175,000.
