ARGYLL and Bute Council’s Integrated Joint Board (IJB) has now written to NHS Highland to ask for more than £900,000 to halt spiralling waiting times.
This comes as people who haven’t received an outpatient appointment in Argyll and Bute within the 12-week waiting period is set to soar by 320 per cent next year.
Councillor Kieron Green of the IJB, and policy lead for health and social care, says it is vital that this money is passed on to Argyll and Bute.
