At United Auctions’ recent Christmas show and sale of store cattle, suckled calves, breeding and feeding cows and heifers and all classes of sheep, record entries were catalogued in all sections totalling 703 cattle and 1631 sheep. A good offering of quality stock was on offer to a large following of buyers from throughout the country. This sale is becoming recognised as a calendar event for this area and is continuing to attract consignors from throughout Argyll, Lochaber, Perthshire and Loch Lomonside as well as the Islands of Barra, Lismore, Colonsay, Mull, Tiree and Coll.
