Organists' Review  |  December 2017
December 2017 is an eclectic gathering.
The cover and pullout feature the spectacular Fritts organ recently installed at Notre Dame University in the USA which Craig Cramer and Paul Walker write about on page nine.
This is followed by a seasonal offering by Andrew Gant – known for his accessible and entertaining writing, he has once more come up trumps looking at what we deem to be 'traditional' Christmas carols. A conversation between James McVinnie and Christopher Robinson then takes a reflective look back at his career.
This year also saw two major IAO events, the Music Festival in Oxford and OrganFest in Hull. Therefore the Association section is larger than average but will hopefully bring back happy memories for many will maybe entice people to attend in future.
