Organists' Review  |  December 2019
The theme of easily be ‘go large or go home’ – as the specification for the Salt
Lake City organ is the largest we have included. However, it leads in well to the idea of Christmas (and this is a December issue). Richard Elliott’s annual
Christmas Organ Solo, broadcast on YouTube, is world-famous; so we are
really pleased that he found time to talk to Francis O’Gorman about this.
Peter King and Huw Williams have continued the Christmas theme in the education section. In case you don’t have time to read this before Christmas, then Donald MacKenzie writes about the Compton in Leicester Square and Steve Smith writes an article about the organ in Atlantic City –a follow-up article on its revisions will appear in March.
