Arena Triathlon Wetsuit Carbon

£466 arenawaterinstinct.com or solosports.co.uk

Arena is a relatively recent entrant to the wetsuit market. A couple of years ago it launched a mid-range suit, which was perfectly adequate but not revolutionary. The new Carbon suit is a step-up, both in price and performance.

Arena is the official swim sponsor of the Ironman European Series, which is possibly why the new suit is labelled as “Triathlon”. It also features the triathlon-friendly reverse zip, which assists with rapid removal. I actually quite like the reverse zips as they feel more secure and minimise the risk of another swimmer accidentally (or purposely) unzipping your suit while you are swimming. However, it does mean you need assistance in putting on the suit.
