We know we say it every year but choosing what cars should go in Car of the Year really sucks. In fact, it’s probably the thing we look forward to the least out of all the things we have to do for the already-a-pain-in-the-neck-December-issue every year. And with the standards of cars getting better and better, every year it gets harder to whittle them all down to just 28 choice picks. There are always so many cars left over that we want to include on the short list that we all end up feeling really guilty! But that said, we always get there in the end.
