Eat Real, who produce snacks with up to 48 per cent less fat than traditional potato crisps, have been registered with The Vegan Society’s official Vegan Trademark, for use on their products.
The Vegan Trademark is a growing feature in supermarket aisles and other shops, and it is widely recognised as being the hallmark of a quality vegan product. Eat Real are now entitled to display the trademark symbol on over 40 of their products.
The Vegan Society’s chief executive, George Gill, said: “People are increasingly aware of what goes into their food and they are seeking compassionate products that do not compromise on taste.
“Eat Real’s registration with the Vegan Trademark will allow customers to make a compassionate but still delicious choice when looking for a treat.”
