The plan

Every month, the #360me team will be sharing our baby-steps approach to leading a healthier, happier life – expert-endorsed and real-life approved

Doubt thou the stars are fire, Doubt that the sun doth move. Doubt truth to be a liar, But never doubt I love WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE “

Try this soothing homemade mask from ‘Super Root Spices: Truly Modern Recipes For Turmeric, Ginger, Galangal & More’ by Wunder Workshop founders Zoë Lind van’t Hof and Tom Smale (Pavilion Books, £9.99)

‘IN SRI LANKA, a full body wrap made with turmeric paste is a popular Ayurvedic treatment for calming insect bites. Turmeric’s powerful anti-infl ammatory and antibacterial properties are also good for treating acne and blemishes. Be warned though, turmeric will stain everything it comes into contact with, so be careful with towels and clothes. Also, clean your hands well afterwards to avoid staining. It is best to remove the mask just before you shower, so that you can wash it off it thoroughly.

To make the mask, combine 1 tbsp chickpea fl our, 1 tsp turmeric powder and 2 tbsp rose water. Mix together into a paste. Apply the mask evenly all over your cleansed face and leave for 10 to 15 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water, then have a shower to remove it completely. Dry your face gently with a clean towel.’

‘Good skin relies on healthy digestion, balanced hormones and a wellfunctioning immune system.

Equi London Beauty Formula – with ingredients including milk thistle, turmeric, probiotics, schisandra, acerola cherry and reishi mushroom – works to support all of these key systems to encourage glowing skin. It also contains collagen, hyaluronic acid, silica, resveratrol and pine bark to help fight the signs of ageing and pigmentation.’
