My father has a very strong work ethic. He believes that hard work is rewarded, and that you get out what you put in. That was instilled in me from early childhood.
I grew up in Zimbabwe. When I was a child, there was a white minority government, and there was this sense from my mother that this was wrong; that the society we lived in was inequitable and unjust. My parents were very liberal.
