On display will be systems, equipment and skills covering all elements of the railway’s fixed assets. These range from track construction and maintenance, signalling and communications, and electrification to installations such as stations and maintenance depots
NEXT year’s Infrarail exhibition will be at a new venue, organisers Mack Brooks have revealed. The company said the UK’s leading showcase for railway infrastructure technology, products and services will take place at ExCeL London in Docklands from 12 to 14 April 2016. The venue is easily reached via the adjacent Custom House station on the Docklands Light Railway.
This will be the eleventh Infrarail and with less than six months to go before the doors open, Mack Brooks warned that stand space is filling fast, saying that “For over 20 years Infrarail has been providing great opportunities for railway infrastructure engineers and industry specialists to have face-to-face meetings with companies covering the entire supply chain. Some 200 firms exhibited at the last Infrarail in 2014, which was visited by more than 5,100 senior managers, technicians and engineers.”
