What inspired you to make NES games, Clay?
During COVID, I was working on some music and thought it would be fun to make a simple browser-based game as a marketing tool. My research led me to NESmaker. I never thought I’d ever make my own NES game. NESmaker and its built-in community have made this whole experience possible. It is designed to help folks who have little/no coding knowledge make something that works. The more you learn, and the more you dig into the guts, you’ll find that you can accomplish whatever you want (within the limits of the console).
