Rider Magazine  |  January 2017
The January 2017 issue of Rider kicks off the new year with a giant special section that includes first looks at all of the new 2017 (and 2018!) models from BMW, Ducati, Honda, KTM, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha that have been introduced so far. Based on the sheer number of bikes we can happily say that it’s going to be a great year! Road tests in the issue include a ghost-town tour test of Honda’s Africa Twin adventure bike, a quick ride on Moto Guzzi’s V7 II Stornello limited-edition scrambler and a thorough flog of Kawasaki’s Vulcan S ABS Café cruiser. We also sent our erstwhile contributor Clement Salvadori on a gorgeous ride in Colorado with the veterans in the Moto Relief Project, which resulted in a fascinating tale, and took a cool cruise to hip New Hope, Pennsylvania, for our Favorite Ride this month. Rallies & Clubs looks at the Rice-O-Rama concours in New England, there’s a helpful buyers guide on Riding Jeans in Tips, Tricks & Answers and as usual the issue is chock full of gear tests, vintage bike retrospectives and sage advice from our columnists. Check it out!
