ANOTHER PLANET: SWEDEN'S J-22 A IN 1/48
At the beginning of World War II, the Swedish Air Force (Flygvapnet) was facing
a serious shortage of aircraft. Since it was almost impossible to find a modern fighter suitable for military operation, it was decided that a new firm and factory (FFVS) should develop and manufacture the new J-22 emergency fighter. A completely new way of construction was invented and it was expected that the aircraft would have a maximum speed at least comparable to that of the Spitfire and the Messerschmitt Bf 109.
