Mushroom ‘Steak’ & Frites

• 6 portobello mushrooms, cleaned

• 4 tbsp lavourless coconut oil, gently melted

• 2 red onions, finely diced

• 2–3 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped

• ½ small glass of vegan red wine (optional)

• 240g (9oz) cooked black beans, mashed

• 45g (1oz) rolled oats

• 3 tbsp aquafaba (drained chickpea water) or other vegan egg substitute

• 45g (1½oz) fresh breadcrumbs
