THERE’S NO BETTER place for Louisiana natives, as well as car and truck enthusiasts from surrounding areas, to celebrate the end of summer than at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in the city of Gonzales for the annual Siknic event. This year marked the 11th anniversary of the event—that’s nearly a dozen years’ worth of raging good times. And at the rate the show is going (and growing), this is just the beginning.
Siknic has yet to disappoint, given that its home base just happens to be conveniently situated in one of the country’s hot spots for killer customs of all kinds. It’s close enough to attract vehicles from Texas, as well as from states throughout the South and Midwest.
