Mangersta, Isle of Lewis
Mangersta, with its rugged cliffs that tower above the turbulent waters below, is one of my favourite places in the Outer Hebrides. The weather had been wild earlier in the day, but it cleared up briefly in the afternoon to let a little light through the clouds. Although relatively calm on the clifftops, the October winds had whipped up an Atlantic swell, which pounded dramatically against the coastline.
