ENGLAND ONE GAME AWAY FROM GLORY
What a difference a year makes. It’s little over twelve months since England were coming to terms with an ignominious first-round exit from the World Cup under a lame duck coach. Today they are preparing for a World T20 final. Whatever happens in Kolkata on Sunday, the transformation in England’s white-ball cricket has been little short of spectacular. The ease with which England chased down the one hundred and fifty four runs required against New Zealand to book their place in Sunday’s final would have been unthinkable a year ago.
