It’s that time of year again, with all the colour of spring coming out and the light nights coming round. And it is also coming up to the Transliving Spring Eastbourne weekend, where I will see my very extra special friend Mandy again -waiting for me at the front of the Haddon Hall hotel. I will get the train from Stevenage on the day of my father’s birthday, (the person in my life that cannot get his head round me being a woman) into London, then the south train to Eastbourne. I will look at all the colours of spring as the train goes along. Mandy and I have been extra-special friends to each other for two yeas now.
As well as being transgendered, I am also Muslim. I feel so much better and happier in myself, but there are still people who can’t get their head round it. But I feel it’s the real me.
