The Inverted Triangle Shape
In my experience of having carried out hundreds of body-shape analyses, one of the most common body shapes, is the inverted-triangle or cornet-shape. With this body shape the shoulders are wider than the hips, which are often very slim. The secret is knowing how to balance this out by choosing skirts or dresses with an A-line shape. Also, simple things like choosing different textures, asymmetrical lines, structure, and clever detailing, all add to the illusion of creating curves.
With this body-shape in mind, I’ve hit the high street, and selected my best examples to show you garments that will enhance you whilst being current for the party season.
