SANDRA IN UNDIES

One of the benefits of being female, is to wear beautiful sexy undies of satin, silk, lace and with sequins of many colours. The downside, is that only a few intimate friends may get to see you wearing them. But on the other hand, Burlesque has moved out of seedy strip-joints into mainstream theatres. A recent show at the New Theatre Royal in Lincoln encouraged ticket buyers to emulate the performers and attend in exotic burlesque outfits. So here was a direct invitation to show a sexy side. Half a dozen women responded and Sandra was not one to be left out.

I wore a corset, small sequined panties, a suspender belt and stockings, high heels, a choker and a mask with a sheer-mesh black top. On my way to the theatre, the delights beneath were hidden by a short coat. I’m a regular patron of the theatre and well known to the staff, so it was easy to ask them to photograph me while waiting in the lobby before the show. Other women wanted to be included in the photos with me, and to take their own pictures. Before and during the show I got more than my fair share of attention.

I got such a high from that event that the next Saturday I went clubbing in those clothes, and welcomed the attention I got; strokes on my skin and pats on the butt as I shimmied on the dance floor, smiles and surreptitious photos. I did have a jacket with me but the weather was mild so I strutted my stuff down the High Street with the jacket over my arm. My appearance excited many clubbers that night and gave me another high. But alas, it was a one-off, to be repeated only rarely.

TO BE TRANS, OR NOT TO BE TRANS
As a child I didn’t always understand gender roles and their influence on socialism. For a while I was the only male child in my immediate family, and though I was taught to be a man, I couldn’t help but wonder how life would be if I were a girl. I enjoyed trucks and sports, but when it came to dolls and dress-up and make-believe, I never missed a chance to enjoy the pleasures of being a little girl.
