Ross Barton’s life is spiralling out of control, thanks to a painkiller addiction he has developed since his acid attack ordeal. And he’s in for further turmoil when drug dealer Simon McManus stands trial for the horrific crime this week. But what Ross doesn’t realise is that Simon shouldn’t be the only one in the dock. The attack was instigated by Ross’ ex-lover Debbie Dingle, who paid Simon to ‘mess up’ twisted Joe Tate, and was left horrified when he got the wrong guy.
