Ubikwist’s bi-annual issue has come to represent more than just a magazine. It’s become an event for communal dialogue – and of course, a flag-waving moment for avant-garde talent. It’s always a euphoric moment to live up to this expectation and we are thrilled to bring you: The Recovery Issue.
With collaborators from Costa Rica, Great Britain, France, Japan, USA, Tobago to Zimbabwe, the Recovery issue features a diverse lineup of activists, fashion and beauty experts, art, music, and film talents across the spectrum. Through uplifting interviews and stunning visuals, it showcases the work of visionaries, activists, photographers, stylists and designers, covering what’s now, what’s next, and what’s necessary.
Celebrating these art forms requires centering the issues the artists face – and recovery perfectly captures that. In this iteration packed with inspiring stories, the celebration of varying talents, and candid insights into our world today, the Recovery issue delves into its meaning and further challenges the reader into rethinking its process.
