Pressing pau se

I hope you are keeping nice and toasty in this chilly weather! I am loving the crisp bright days followed by the glorious deep orange and plum-hued sunsets; I like to think that it’s nature’s way of signalling to us that we will get through the winter and the sun will rise on spring in no time at all.

I find that during the colder months, my creativity really flows. I think it must be something to do with cosy nights in, warm cocoa and more time at home to contemplate the bigger picture of life. I feel that it’s really important to allow ourselves the time we need to formulate our thoughts and feelings and to give ourselves the opportunity to figure things out. I have always been an eternal note-maker (and stationery addict); keeping a journal has proven over the past few years an extremely worthwhile exercise for me. By physically getting my thoughts onto paper, I feel less muddled and I am able to hatch the best plan of action!
