Double Trouble!

E lvis is about to hit Netflix! Well… an animated version of him at any rate. The popular streaming platform has recently announced details of an upcoming ‘adult action comedy series’ animation entitled Agent King, made in partnership with Priscilla Presley and co-creator (and rock musician) John Eddie who has been developing the idea for some time. In the series, Elvis is cast as a covert secret government agent conducting his spying missions while preserving his cover as the King Of Rock’n’ Roll. “Elvis trades in his jumpsuit for a jetpack when he joins a secret government spy program to help battle the dark forces that threaten the country,” reads Netflix’s description.

“From the time Elvis was a young boy he always dreamed of being the superhero fighting crime and saving the world! Agent King lets him do just that,” explained Priscilla. “My co-creator John Eddie and I are so excited to be working with Netflix and Sony Animation on this amazing project and getting the chance to show the world an Elvis they haven’t seen before.”
