FIERY RACES!

During the two races which took place in Mizunami, the ambient temperature reached 40° c, while the asphalt temperature exceeded 60° c. The teams had to work hard to find the right solution so as not to ruin the tires ahead of time and allow the engine to develop the best performance while protecting its reliability.

RACE REPORT MICRO XIAO YU ON THE EDGE

In Saturday’s final, the fifth round of the championship, Chinese driver Sun Xiao Yu takes pole position; next to him, Enzo Yeh of Taiwan. The latter made a poort start, opens a gap for Fuji Kishi who exploited the favor by lining up behind Xiao Yu. The two lead the race, avoid dueling each other, an intelligent strategy that allows them to create a gap on the rest of the group.

With three laps to go the duel for the victory with Xiao Yu and Fuji takes shape, thus putting on a great show with a continuous change of positions. At the finish line, Xiao Yu is first with only 0.032 on Fuji. Third, further back, is Enzo Yeh.

YUKI BEATS SHOTA ON THE LAST LAP

Sunday’s final has Shota Fuji and Mitsuki Sato on the front row, with Yuki Tsuboi and Fuji Kishi on the second. At the start, Shota takes the lead followed by Fuji, while Mitsuki loses a position in favor of Yuki. A platoon of 7 driver remains compact until just a few laps from , the finish line. Shota defends the first position by closing all the gates, but doing so penalizes his speed out of corners. To took advantage is Yuki, who passs and wins his first victory.
