Pauwels dreams, Boya is Champ
The Genk event marks the end of yet another season of the Academy Trophy. A close match and uncertainty reward local hero Kobe Pauwels who misses out on the title by one point, which instead goes to Spaniard Mari Boya.
THE FIRST CHAMPIONS
After four rounds, the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy disputed the last race in Germany in the modern Prokart Raceland of Wackersdorf. Renamed about a year ago, the Championship completed its first season successfully.
FIERY RACES!
During the two races which took place in Mizunami, the ambient temperature reached 40° c, while the asphalt temperature exceeded 60° c. The teams had to work hard to find the right solution so as not to ruin the tires ahead of time and allow the engine to develop the best performance while protecting its reliability.

The introduction of the float chamber carburetor should have put all the drivers on the same playing field, but this was not the case for a long series of reasons.
