CIRCUIT GUIDE 2021
The tracks that will host the Fia Karting European Championship are especially attractive for the OK class. The Belgian track that will open the continental event is among the most “driven” and the most suitable for identifying those who will be the season’s top protagonists. The Sarno track, although it is among the longest and fastest in the championship, together with that of Zuera, is also interesting thanks to the new central section which is decisive for achieving the best lap time. Sarno and Zuera will be particularly challenging due to the expected high temperatures in mid-summer. The unknown factor is also the French track of Essay, which in 2019 proved difficult to interpret, upsetting predictions on who the eligible candidates for victory would be. The shifter class will make its debut once again on the difficult Wackerdorf track as it did in 2019 (which took place in the rain) and then close with a flourish in August in Adria. But we will return to talk about these two events in the next issue.
