In this feature column we have often talked about the possibility/ necessity of a promotional category, created to facilitate entry or access to karting by new enthusiasts (the world is full of motorsport fans, but not all manage to become practitioners) and to increase the popularity of our sport accordingly.
Therefore, to the advantage not only of those who produce and sell karts, or of the most popular teams that participate in international competitions, but also of the rest of the karting world or scene: the tracks (especially the minor ones), small organizers, minor teams and tuners, and so on. So far we have focused above all on the technical characteristics, on how these karts should have been materially in order to be - first of all - inexpensive (both in terms of purchase and maintenance), as well as easy to manage, preparatory and (last but not least) fun. In short, attractive and affordable for those who start but also for those who want to continue without being drained economically.
