If in past years we have seen innovative projects but, often, without any technical and commercial followup, nowadays the innovations are less evident, less striking. We have learned that karting is done by small refinements and almost never via big revolutions. Birel ART certainly does not need to amaze anyone with special effects and, thus, for the two-year period 2022-2023 it restarts from a classic frame for the OK (single-speed) and KZ (multi-speed) categories, focusing on the quality of materials, accessories and ease of setup. The new frame features a classic design with 3-curve side members. The chosen tube is 30 mm diameter. What is immediately striking about these new karts is the intelligent adjustment system of the footrests, with 10 adjustments, and the height of the steering wheel, with two sleds featuring 100 mm of travel. Obviously, the 3 height adjustments at the front and rear remain in addition to the classic adjustments for camber and caster.
What mattered most was to combine a tried and tested design of the frame with first-rate accessories rigorously designed by Free Line, focusing on the their construction quality and choice of materials which, to date, represent what really makes the difference, that added value.
