Happy summer everybody, and welcome to the new issue which is full, as ever, with the brightest and most beautiful blooms of the season. Can you believe it’s been two years since the royal wedding? Neither can we, and now, as we prepare for the birth of the royal baby, we thought it right to mark the occasion with a trip down memory lane, taking another look at the flowers which made the wedding of the decade. See page 12 for royal floral designer Shane Connolly’s reminiscences about the day. Flowers continue to be as fashion-forward as ever, of course, with ’60s flower-child crowns having their moment in the sun – and soon to be seen at all the hippest weddings this summer. I’ve seen the look everywhere, from the beautiful models who graced the catwalk of the Pronovias show in Barcelona (pictured below) to recent real-life wedding stories (page 42). Meanwhile, bring a touch of jungle fever into your honeymoon wardrobe, with hyper-colourful and leafy prints which are all over the high street right now. Turn to page 62 and pick your favourites. Until next issue!
