Looking for fresh, seasonal ideas for your wedding day theme? Your inspiration starts right here

Haze of violet

Pastel tones lend themselves to a storybook wedding day with a slight difference

After a dreamy, magical day but don’t quite fancy pinks or whites floral-wise? Violets make for a beautiful alternative. Pastel colours look timeless and allow for plenty of details, especially when accessorised with soft, gold tones, playful florals and natural elements. Thanks to a picture-perfect palette of violets, peach, blush and gold, finished with a touch of eucalyptus and olive greenery, the attention to detail creates an extraordinary effect. With a table runner simply bursting with blooms, and a ‘circle of love’ draped in foliage, this look is perfect for spring and summer weddings. Make a statement with a striking dessert table, groaning under the weight of delicious cakes and dressed with matching blooms. Florist Nathalie Fase used ‘Juliet’ garden roses, ‘Café au Lait’ dahlias, eucalyptus and lisianthus alissa for a lush and classy day. Add texture to the outdoors ceremony with a floral arch draped with floaty linens to create an intimate atmosphere and a great spot for pictures. And don’t forget unusual twists, such as confetti stored and displayed in glass vessels with cork stoppers to make your confetti moment extra special.
