What Motorhome magazine July 2016 Back Issue

Volkswagens has dominated the campervan scene for over 60 years, but the new T6 faces stiffer competition than ever before in the leisure market. We reckoned it was time to put a couple of T6s to the test against rivals based on the increasingly popular Ford Transit Custom and the all-new Renault Trafic. We tested all four of them on the rugged roads of north Wales to see if VW still rules the roost in campervans.

Elsewhere in this issue, we welcome back Eura Mobil to UK shores with a look at the Profila RS 730 EB, one of a small number of the German manufacturer’s models on sale at Derbyshire-based Geoff Cox.

And we take a look at Thor Gemini 23TR – an American RV, yes, but one with European-sized dimensions and a new Ford Transit base vehicle – with an automatic gearbox for the very first time.

It’s not all about motorhomes however, because you still need those extra bits and bobs to make your first ever motorhome journey completely hassle-free. In this issue we show you what accessories you really need now, and what you can think about for the future.
