Always hungry? A new study in Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience says that switching from saturated fats to unsaturated supports the part of the brain that regulates hunger. Tests showed that meals high in the saturated fats found in fried and processed foods reduced a person’s cognitive function – leading to uncontrolled overeating.
