Mother’s Milk Books, the indie press dedicated to books that normalise breastfeeding and celebrate femininity and empathy, is opening this month for submissions of short stories and fairy tales for the third in its series of its annual anthology The Forgotten and the Fantastical.
Stories should be up to 5,000 words and may be set in the present day or in any fantastical (or scifi) setting. Submitting writers are asked to buy a copy of one of the previous books in the series through the website and include the invoice number with their submission. Send submissions by email.
Each accepted author will be paid £20 and receive a free book and a chance to read at the launch.
