To commemorate the hundredth anniversary of the Easter Rising in 1916, SaveAsWriters writing group in Canterbury is running a creative writing competition on the theme of ‘rebellion’.
Enter original and unpublished poetry up to sixty lines and short stories up to 3,000 words. There are prizes of £100, £50 and £25. The entry fee is £4 per short story (£10 for three) and £3 per poem (£8 for three). The closing date is 3 August.
