The Fiction Desk Ghost Story Competition 2017 is open for entries.
There is a first prize of £500, a second prize of 250 and a third prize of £100. The winning and shortlisted entries will be published in an anthology. The competition will be judged by Fiction Desk founder Rob Redman.
The competition is for ghost stories between 1,000 and 7,000 words. Writers may respond to the idea of ‘ghost stories’ in any way they like, but The Fiction Desk prefers psychological chills to gore.
