Prize for Cheshire cats

The 2017 High Sheriff Cheshire Prize for Literature is inviting entries. In 2017 the prize will be given for children’s literature.

The competition, which offers a prize of £2,000 to the winner, and runner-up prizes of £750, is open to residents of Cheshire, Warrington, Wirral and Halton. This includes anyone who has ever lived or studied in the area. Each year the prize is given for a different kind of writing, and in 2017 it is for writing for children aged 7-15.
