East of the Web, a US site dedicated to short fiction, has over 500,000 unique visitors each month and its mobile app, Short Stories eReader, has been installed on over 100,000 devices. The site has been well reviewed by The Times, The Telegraph and Britannica.com.
Now East of the Web is preparing to launch an as-yet-untitled electronic imprint for speculative fiction. The editors are seeking imaginative, idea-filled science fiction and fantasy short stories by writers with some established publishing experience. Submissions should be accessible, with strong plots and compelling characters, written with a good knowledge of the science fiction or fantasy canon.
