Health & Wellbeing  |  Oct-21
I f you’ve been supporting Health & Wellbeing for
a while now, well firstly, a huge thank you, but
you’ll also know how much we love walking.
We’ve been encouraging women across the
UK for more than a year to get their steps up, and
we love it so much, that we launched our Walk To
Wellbeing podcast earlier this year – download
today if you haven’t already! But it turns out, we’re
not alone in our love of a good al fresco stomp,
our fantastic cover star this month, Julia Bradbury, is
waxing lyrical about walking over on page 22. Head
there to discover where her love of nature all began, what
she’s teaching her children about the great outdoors and where her all-time
favourite walk is. And Julia clearly practises what she preaches, but if you want
to be more of a role model to the people in your life, flick the page to 26
where you can pick up a plethora of tips on how to be more mindful of your
actions and a shining example to those looking up to you. Talking of shining
examples, it’s also that time of year where we reveal those blazing the way in
the wellness industry – wait no longer, the results of the 2021 H&W awards
are in and you can find out who the winners are on page 97. Finally, we’ve
dedicated our 10-page special to focus on matters of the mind – a topic not
to be overlooked. And, if the past 18 months have taught us anything, it’s that
life is short and can change in an instant, so why are we delaying our future
happiness? We show you how to stop waiting for
the perfect moment and how to embrace
joy today. We also discovered from
our podcasts guests that knowing
how to switch off from stress was
not easy for women – so we’ve
created a toolkit to turn that
pressure into peace. Let’s
find calm in the chaos –
stay well and see you soon.
