As a seasoned renovator Kirsty Crabtree, 44, had no qualms about taking on a rundown three-bedroom 1930s semi in Bromley, despite it having no heating, ageing electrics and a dingy interior that paid homage to the 70s. ‘My initial aim was to get the children’s bedrooms completed before moving on to the larger projects,’ recalls Kirsty. ‘However with all four of us forced to share a tiny bathroom, just large enough for a dated shower and basin, the sudden demise of the old immersion heater was the perfect excuse for Joshua, Lauren and Esther to also insist on a new and improved bathroom!’
Having almost doubled her available space, Kirsty was able to create a smart, contemporary bathroom that is brimming with personality and also caters to the entire family’s bathing and showering needs
