Insulation, insulation, insulation. I’ve been banging the insulation drum for years because insulating your home is by far the most affordable and most efficient way to reduce your energy bills. Of course there are many other ways of making your home energy-efficient and we should consider them all, but just like we invest in a new jacket to keep ourselves warm in the winter, buying a new winter jacket for the place you live will make an enormous difference to the quality and comfort of your home for many years to come.
